The Horses
The horses at Track Right are part of what makes it special. Our experienced lesson horses and ponies make riding safe and enjoyable.
Hurricane
Hurricane is a Quarter Horse who stands about 15.2 hands high and weighs over 1200 pounds. He is very well trained and ideal for larger riders to learn the basics. He is is a chestnut with four stockings and a white face, making him a striking presence in the show ring. He enjoys all sorts of treats, especially peppermints! Hurricane can safely carry riders up to 185 pounds.
Pepsi
Pepsi is a 36 year old pony who is mostly retired from lessons. She fills in when needed, but mostly relaxes and begs for treats.
Bella
Bella is a half Quarter Horse, half Arabian mare. She stands about 14 hands high, making her a pony She is ideal for smaller riders. Her steady gaits make her a barn favorite! She also loves peppermints after a workout.
Pilgrim
Pilgrim is the smallest of all, standing only 9.1 hands high. Pilgrim is mostly the mascot, but he does pull a pony cart. We have had him the longest of all the equines... over 18 years!
Rain
Rain (left) is an American Paint mare who is also classified as a pony. She is the only pony here that does not belong to us. She is currently being rehabbed for some arthritis, so we hope to have her added to our lesson line up soon!
